The first thing that people think about Salzburg is the world famous classic musician, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

The road the Mozart’s house was situated is now become a large shopping area of Salzburg.

The color of Salzach River is very green because of salt in the river.

If you across the Salzach River, you will meet the inner alley which was believed that it is a birth place of Mozart.

You can read from the sign that “Mozarts Gebursthaus”, which means Mozart’s house.

Other than the story of Mozart, the other thing that people know about Salzburg is it is a film location of “The Sound of Music”.

The Sound of Music is the story about “Maria”, a dream girl who live in convant. One day, she take a job for babysitting of 7 chlidren in a soldier’s house. Because Maria is a music lover, she bring music to the house and makes the children love it and everyone’s life is happy ending. The famouse soundtrack from this movie is “Do-Re-Mi”.

While I’m walking arounf this area, I heard people talk about the performance of “Herbert von Karajan”, a conductor who was born in Salzburg.

If you a fan of “The Sounf of Music” and “Amadeus”, this is a place you can’t miss.

Even if it is the third week of the autumn (Herbst), we are still getting fresh air in the city of “Salt Mountain” or Salzburg.

From the tourist view, there are many of Turkish lives in Salzburg. If you walk along the road in town, you will see some internet cafes owned by the Turkish or many of Turkish restaurants.

There are 4 or 5-star hotels situated around the central train station in the city. It should be the ”Rainerstrasse Road”, where you can go to anywhere in the city by bus.

Europa hotel, located nearby the central train station (Der Bahnhof). The word “Bahn” means the path and “Hof” means courtyard.

Beautiful buildings around the Mirabell Palcae. I think  this is the Bank of Austria.

There are the italian pizzaria restaurants as well.

Salzach River is very green.

People in Salzburg uses bicycle as their primary vehicle like many cities in Europe.

If I’m not wrong, this is the location scene of “The Sound of Music”.

In this trip, we travel to Munich from Rome, Italy by train for 29 Euro. We arrived Munich in the morning.

Next day, we went to Fuessen, a city whereby Schloss Neuschwanstein Castle is situated.

To go there, I suggest you take the train from Munich, then continue on bus.
